If coming by car, do not take much notice of the postcode (BA10 0PE), because it covers a large chunk of the local countryside. Instead, use Google Maps or Apple Maps, and type in Pitcombe Barn.

Accessibility

The house is reached along a half-mile rough track, so 4x4 vehicles are best suited (though not absolutely necessary).

The main house is accessed by one large stone step up to the front door. This gives access to the whole of the ground floor, which is on one level (aside from the Annexed Barn).

The Annexed Barn, with its ground floor bedroom and en suite bathroom, is accessed via its own dedicated front door (down one step). Alternatively, it can be reached internally through the Dining Room, by descending two steps.
